45 Day Letter: Day Sort

Teamsters Local 638 received a 45-day notice today from UPS. The Company states that they intend to convert the Day Sort in Minneapolis from temporary to permanent status.

Local 638 will be meeting with the Company in the upcoming weeks to discuss details that may impact current Minneapolis employees on the Preload, Twilight and Midnight shifts.

This should allow everyone whom is of seniority to re bid

If they want the day sort permanently than it should go by seniority employees I feel we earn that right! They need to have all seniority employees re-bit into this day sort not seasonal employees
