Teamsters Local 638 maintains a team of volunteers who are interested in being member organizers.  Members of the Volunteer Organizing Committee have the opportunity to learn how workers are organized, participate in organizing meetings and educate non-union workers on the benefits of joining the union.

​VOC members will earn perks like shirts, hats, and other union swag based on how frequently they volunteer.  Meals and mileage will be covered any day you contribute.  All members, stewards, and retirees are encouraged to participate.
